Welcome Week 2017

Welcome to Pescara and Chieti! 
Your Erasmus experience starts with our Welcome Week, a week full of event with the aims to get to know your new city, your new friends and have a lot of fun!

Here the programme of the events:

TUESDAY 10/10/2017 - h.15:30 - Pescara City Tour
Curious about the city? Our volunteers will guide you through the streets of Pescara, showing you some beautiful spots of this modern city and giving you tips on the nicest places to go to. At the end of the tour we will have an Happy Hour all together to get to know each other, you will learn the meaning of APERITIVO.

WEDNESDAY 11/10/2017 - h.19:30 - Erasmus Futsal
Are you a sport person? Or a sport fan? Let’s discover it with a futsal game all together. Men, women.. it doesn’t matter! The more important thing is to have a lot of fun together!

THURSDAY 12/10/2017 - h.11:30 - Erasmus Welcome Day
We will go to Chieti campus, where the International Office, the Dean and all the Erasmus Coordinatoor will officially welcome you to the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara. During the conference we will present all the activities we are organizing for you during the year like parties, trips and other unforgettable events! At the end of the conference there will be an aperitivo offered by the university.

THURSDAY 12/10/2017 - h.15:30 - Chieti City Tour
Chieti is among the most ancient of Italian cities. According to mythological legends, the city was founded in 1181 B.C. by the Greek hero Achilles. We will spend our afternoon discovering this beautiful city of Abruzzo with its narrow streets and ancient buildings.

FRIDAY 13/10/2017 - h.22:00 - Pub Crawl
Let’s go out for the night and let’s check the best nightlife places of Pescara.

SATURDAY 14/10/2017 - h.23:30 - Welcome Party
Some people say that one of the most important things during their Erasmus are parties. They are not wrong! So let’s start the season with our Welcome Party and let’s have a lot of fun together!!!

SUNDAY 15/10/2017 - h.20:30 - Italian Dinner
Last but not least! As you already know Italy is probably the most famous country in the world for the deliciousness of the food! Join us and try some typical Italian food!
